I was born in France to Beninese parents, but I had never truly known the country beyond their stories. Thanks to BENINOW, I was able to reclaim my nationality, visit the places my mother told me about, and meet my family in Abomey. This journey changed how I see myself. Returning to Benin felt like closing a circle and rediscovering part of my history.
